Originally HMT produced commer-cial quality cold drawn seamless carbon steel tubes at its plant in Mum-bai. A second plant was set up at Anklesh-war in 1982 for the production of special quality cold drawn seamless carbon steel tubes aimed at more demanding customers and applications such as refineries, petrochemicals, fertilizer plants, etc.
