It has been a busy year or so for HARALD PIHL Group, and it doesn’t look set to become any less busy, or innovative, or indeed rewarding, as the group enters 2021. The company continues to expand in the aerospace sector, to strengthen its local presence, and to invest in people, equipment, and digitalisation.
Aerospace has long been a key market sector for HARALD PIHL Group. Over the years an impressive wealth of knowledge has been acquired by the company in this area, and considerable investments made to ensure that the Group can meet the highly demanding requirements which are a prerequisite for operating successfully in it.
Of particular importance, of course, is the ability to maintain extremely high quality standards. Quality failures are quite simply not permissible when it comes to supplying aircraft manufacturers. It is not least for this reason, managing director Jonas Pihl told us, that HARALD PIHL for some considerable time now has been a quality-
driven organisation, with quality in focus all of the time.
With its own quality management system, which is approved to ISO 9001 and AS9120, HARALD PIHL can always guarantee the very highest quality, often exceeding the applicable standards. All incoming material is PMI tested, and full documentation provided from purchasing to warehousing, to processing and delivery. New aerospace approvals continue to be received, and the company has commenced certification to ISO 14001.
